Cycling in 2001
or
Changing the clay.

Each of us inhabits a world that is of our own making. How we parse and store information about change really does affect everything in that world, information technology is unique in this regard. The basis of life itself is affected by advances in information processing and distribution.

If you are a professional trader you may be well aware of the advantages that have accrued to that industry over the last 20 years due to advances in communications technology and the most important is the empowering of the individual. The landscape has changed and the cycles that ruled economic activity in the the industrial age are slowly coming to an end.

One thing that is very obvious today is the sheer number of investors. At no time in history has capital been distributed in this degree of portability and availability. There is no organized system that can withstand the advance of this "shoal of fishes".
