One defection by one liberal Republican ...
Soon there will be no liberal Republicans. It's all clear now! The far right crazy Republicans have completely taken over the party. You are probably still ignorant of the consequences of these actions because it hasn't happened in the North for awhile. This is similar to the far-right takeover of the Baptist Church. It's probably even the same people. The moderates moved out.

To make a long story short, in a few years the Republicans are going to be a tiny minority and there will be some kind of new party to take their place. The truth is, the majority of the country is not going to put up with far right Nazi-like sentiments. Well, there could be other outcomes like the Republicans wise up and decide they don't want the most extreme 1% of the party in charge. I doubt it though, the zealots are just too enamored with their concept of a pure God fearing white nation.
