I predicted consolidation among big telecom vendors in February. I predicted the death of ADSL in September 2000. Everything is happening as I predicted. But is your money. You're in love with this stock and this is no good for investors, ZO. you must live in different world a) global DSL is growing 80% and as you could see Qwest has increased DSL spending so do Telus in Canada and Bell South. In Europe Deutsche Telecom is deploying more and more. So where is your prediction on DSL? Take off your wireless glasses may be you will see bettter. As far as switches Alcatel IP+ATM and other carrier internetworking products will grow 50% this year(Y/Y) and grew 90% Y/Y last quarter. It is your lovely wirelss and heandst which is dragging ALA. as well as others (Siemens, Ericy) and even NT reported deley in deployment. Don't we have to many wirelss vendors(NOK,Siemens,LU,NT, and others). Carriers spenf fortune to buy licences and where are benefit? answer years away if any. DSL, IP+ATM switches, IP routers(core and edge) and optical networks , despite slowdawn are still growing and brings real money to carries with good business model. B/c I post on ALA thread , it does not put me in bed with the stock. You take care of your $ and will do the same with mine. BTW, our arguments are about fundamentals not investment. So many people started to ignore your calls about DSL, which are made simple b/c it is compeating technolog to very expensive and in many cases inferior wireless. why Qwest want to deploy an additional million or so DSL lines. You always called it another mistake, and repeat the same B.... "DSL is dead as I predicted" Every day more and more people around the world is using this dead DSL and are happy and you still call 2+2=10 keep talking off for kings fishing ZO
