This may take a long time trying to figure out what Vermont needs..so far it is cemetary plots...people never leave, and while they are there, they hang bottles from maple trees to collect syrup..Then /they must be ready at least a month in advance for the tourist who come to see the leaves change, and buy fake antiques... Fo this, He has to change parties?

Jeffords isn't a moderate, he's a liberal. The press should be referring to him as the formerly liberal Republican, now liberal Democrat. 1. Voted against banning partial birth abortion. Supports government funded abortion clinics. 2. Voted against Reagan's tax cut. 3. Voted for Clinton tax increase. 4. Voted against balanced budget amendment. 5. Is against school vouchers. 6. Wanted no tax cut. Was the focal point of decreasing Bush's tax cut from 1.6 trillion over 10 years, to 1.35 trillion over 11. 7. Is against military spending increases. 8. Is a big spender. The only thing I can find which doesn't land squarely in the liberal column is guns. He's a big gun advocate. He and Barbra Boxer should have a good time together.... Vermonts state motto should read.. "live free off the government and then die". :)
