not only was Jesus, (Son of David), the Christ, (Messiah), but that He was Lord to David, a position that could only be filled by God.

Make up our mind. Was Mary a virgin, or wasn't she? Did Jesus carry the y chromosomes from David's seed, or did He not?? Where did Jesus get his DNA from? The Holy Ghost? Is David the Holy Ghost?? Is Joseph the Holy Ghost??

No wonder they didn't "dare question Him anymore.". They learned their lesson even though they were not interested in being taught.

But in Mark's version (12:28-34), they approve of Jesus' answers and praise him for it. In Luke's version (Chapter 10), they do indeed ask more questions, which leads to the telling of the "Good Samaritan" story.

In light of the numerous contradictions, it would be foolish to interpret the Jesus myths as historical events.
