B2B Stocks Resumed : New analyst at Salomon Smith Barney resumes coverage of B2B stocks; analyst assumes coverage of Commerce One (CMRC 8.20 -0.74) with an Outperform rating and 12-month target of $11 and Ariba (ARBA 6.75 -0.27) with a Neutral rating and 12-month target of $8; firm's previous rating on ARBA was an Outperform... Believes CMRC is better positioned in the intermediate-term to execute on its vision based on strength of their partnerships with SAP and Microsoft as well as their diversified biz model.

Harry within those conflicting views there lies some excellent trading opportunities. I am considering buying the SMH when I feel it has hit a short term bottom again. Keep up the excellent work!

Semi Equipment : Bear Stearns' Ripple Effect says that book-to-bill of 0.42 in April will likely disprove the view that the worst is behind us, and notes that the NVLS mid-qtr update is May 31 and that there may be some risk to estimates. An alternative view comes from ABN AMRO, which cheers the terrible book/bill number as evidence that the bottom in orders will come in Q2, a quarter earlier than expected; reiterates BUY ratings on NVLS, AMAT, LRCX, KLAC, CYMI and ups price targets by 25% on average.

Thank you, RtS
