DJ PurchasePro/10-Q -2: To Trade Under PPROE Thursday

23 May 21:04

LAS VEGAS (Dow Jones)--PurchasePro.com Inc. (PPRO) said it doesn't expect to
file its first quarter Form 10-Q until its auditors complete their review of
the company's financial results.

In a press release Wednesday, the online business-to-business services
company said it expects the review "will result in further adjustment of the
financial results for the quarter."
On Tuesday, PurchasePro reported "revised" results for the first quarter, but
didn't explain why. The company said its first quarter loss was $32.4 million,
or 47 cents a share, rather than the previously reported loss of $18.1 million,
or 26 cents a share. First quarter revenue was restated to $17.1 million from
$29.8 million.

The revised cash operating loss was $15.9 million, or 23 cents a share,
compared with the previously reported cash operating loss of $1.4 million, or 2
cents a share.

As a result of the delayed 10-Q filing, PurchasePro will trade under the
PPROE symbol beginning Thursday.
