Max, sounds like you had a great plan of action. I was out of town all day, so I'm just now catching up on what happened. In a nutshell, 2232 held and 2282 is where we ended. We either break through 2282 or go back down.

I agree with you about retail being the controlling factor going into the long weekend. However, the hedge players are still pretty strong this time of year, as kids are still in school on Friday. I've noticed that when there is a long weekend with school out, the retail action spikes the market (retail doesn't normally short).

Ultimately if we go up on Friday, Tuesday or Wednesday could be big reversal days. The SOXX didn't participate at all in the rally at the end, even though INTC had some positive comments with their Capex reiterations.
