Break-even!

kdavy, I too have been trading "shades of Tito's yo-yo plays", focusing up to this point only on the dark side. I attempted to buck the trend by shorting in the low $50's, thinking AMAT was about to dip back to the $47 -$48 range in the very short term. (a huge position with multiple sells averaged at around $52.50) I was handed my hat after the Fed cut, and almost threw in the towel when the Naz broke solidly through 2250 and AMAT subsequently climbed back to recent highs of the current range around $58. Thanks to the BTB number, I just covered my entire play at $52.50 for no gain and no loss. I feel like I dodged a bullet on this one and am happy to have been able to protect my YTD profits and live to play again.
