Me, a guarantee? I've never gotten a dime from the govt. Why do you suggest I am asking for anything? It is the people who eat who want a guarentee. They want food at the same price every year. They want it cheap as possible. It ain't for the farmer, it is for the consumer. And I had like a really thoughtful long post to your last one but I got booted. I think the upshot was... everyone with a balcony or a yard who wastes a bunch of water keeping grass green.... go grow some tomatos this year... and some squash. Friggin plant something that counts beyond the roses in your vase (not that those aren't pretty) but feed yourselves. Remember what it's like. What the food tastes like off the vine! If you really want control? If you really think the govt. has too much power? Grow your own food. Get a chicken and have some eggs. It'd just be good for all of us to have a home grown tomato. Hell, some people have never had one. that there is scary.
