I do listen, and sell, and make a decent living. But that won't feed a country our size. Big difference. I sell cheap because I cut out all the middle men. Could someone in NY City do that? hmm... actually... maybe. A nice little stash on the balcony. Tomatos are way prolific. Sell to the apt. buildings on the block. I could do it. But then I'm wierd. :) And I don't drive a new car. Or own a dvd. hell, I don't even have a cd player. it's choices. A software professional would not do it. You still have to live simple. Ain't gonna make 70,000 doing it.
