Does any one else think it is odd that the Russian Government is "announcing" that it is going to sell gold? No, not just going in and dumping a bunch so you can get the best price, but announce it first. No rumors, no sly slipping trades quietly into the market, just splash it on the media. Oh yes and on the same day it is announced that gold demand is up 5%. Smells mighty funny to me. Oh yeah, and what time was it in Russia when this was "announced" here around 11 am?
