I cut my Monday's shares loose @ 16, reloaded a minute ago for a quicky maybe.

Selling GENE above $16.25 appears to have been the right move. Message 15848685 Heck, we saw it nearly double in the past 2 days. Searching GENE on SI, most everyone around the community was trying to short GENE all week on the upgrade. Ouch! They underestimated the power of CNBC hype on a low float stock.

Likewise, dumping Fuel Cells on Monday afternoon turned out to be the right move: Message 15830807 Getting back in was tricky though. I know many of you bought your PLUG back yesterday near $28. That was the right move. I was busy and missed getting my swing trades back before the bell and dislike buying in after-market. . . so I bought back first thing this morning near $30. . . still good for $3.00 more bucks today. . .as California swelters in a heatwave and Plug Power delivers more residential fuel cell units. . . what a power house player this one has been for us trading over the past year-and-a-half. . . .nearly as lucrative as trading LightPath during the same period.

OPTV was another nice trader this week, moving from $10 to $16 this week. We bought at $12 and change with this post: Message 15835396 But the big mover in our Interactive TV sector today was TIVO. It doubled in a single day today.

Finally, perhaps the best strategy of the week was staying away from chip stocks, which took quite a beating since Tuesday. . . .and not getting tempted by Fibre-Optics. We've been staying away from the "usual" names like Corning, AMCC, PMCS, Cisco, BRCM, etc., etc. and stuck with the small and micro-cappers. . . . .and it has paid off handsomely with some terrific traders this week.

I'll miss tomorrow's holidility. . . I can smell it tonight. . .especially looking over the way so many stocks finished the day. . . . . . . . very tempting . . . . >G<

Best wishes all. . .
