We've been hearing that for the last few years, but just the opposite is true. The number of republican votes cast in November far outnumber democrat votes and the lead is growing. How many governors are now republican? Two-thirds?

As far as the GOP goes, just go on fooling yourself.

If the Republicans were not being successful, the media would not be making such a big deal about "rifts" in the party.

Jeffords finally came out of the closet, and everyone acts as if he changed his colors overnight.

jlallen -If Bush doesn't knock House Conservatives heads together and get Campaign Finance Reform passed he'll lose McCain.

McCain is just one of a dozen ex-chairmen that are very, very unhappy with this particular "leader".
