None of you seem very creative in your thinking here. What is more precious to a person, reputation or money? For instance, to take a case we all know well, would Bill Clinton have preferred to have settled privately, for a fee, with Monica--rather than have the world know the truth he denied (even convincing his wife and daughter that his lies were true)--and have to live with the public knowing that truth the rest of his life? He was quite convincing until he was pushed right up against the wall--before the world. In another words, what would be more difficult for a person: have to shell out some $, or be exposed in the media as Bill Clinton was? As a writer, I do find these questions fascinating.

What is a tick in sheep's clothing? (That's just a trick question)

And that's my last post on the subject.
