The PALM EXPANSION SLOTS are as key to the future of handhelds and PDAs as is the PALM OS. I actually beive that we will witness the expansion slot business end up being the high tech innovators, with all the other hardware and software makers ending up, like box makers, becoming commodities, especially once handhelds are more or less standard in size and once the chips inside are maxxed out. With a standard platform like PALM devices or the smartphones with PALM devices built in, all using the PALM OS, then any other valuable space will have to come from expansion slot card makers, until programmable chips get so cheap that a standard slot card can be programmed over a wireless network as needed, but that seems over 5 years on the horizon so far. Thanks for the SCKT tip. Right now I am buying more PALM at these temporary buy prices.
I am,
Truly your$,
