Shawn, you can short TIVO at your broker, any broker. When a stock has options, you can short well in the money calls and it's equivalent to shorting the underlying common. Same thing with MPPP last year, it spiked from 3 to 10 in a couple of days, I couldn't borrow so I sold calls. The net effect is the same.
