DAK, yesterday I meet at a cocktail party a PaineWeber gal, VP. mutual funds NE Region ...... who joined the firm right after 1987 I think. ......... and guess what! ...... she realy truly believes that stocks are right for the long run.

She said that you do not buy stocks but the talent of the money manager ................. gee I asked her what about them piling in tech last year ............. oh well long run she said , ................... asked her what is wrong with 5% CD ............. oh well will not cover your child college ............... asked her what's wrong with oil companies wen oil was $12 well she said tech perform better .................. well I said would you by all my non performing tech debt including telecom 10 to 30 cents to the dollar ?......... for the long run .............. or may Xerox or some Wang Stock certificates ? or Borland, or Control Data or Unisys .......... . well she said was not thinking about that............... can I have your business card please ............. thank you
