Of course, when it comes to nominations, judicial or otherwise, Clinton set the precedent of waiting for a recess and then appointing whoever he wanted without Senate approval. If the Senate stonewalls GWB on his administration jobs (which they are) and his judgeships (which they will), he can just appoint people by the truckload whenever the Congress goes home.

I wouldn't be shy about it, either...
