When Intel comes into a company to sell a product, it is traditional to have all involved exchange NDAs. Re: You guys should hear what the Intel reps are saying about you in meetings under NDA:

When an Intel rep or Intel direct salesman goes into a company to sell a product, he has no need for an NDA.
I doubt that Intel reps even have or are authorized to execute NDAs. Do you really think that an Intel rep won't sell a PIII to your Mom and Pop Gizmo Inc. unless you sign an NDA? Do you really think he's going to sign your NDA as a condition of the sale?

Stuff said under such an agreement can't be passed on. But it is juicy, LOL.

Have you ever even seen an NDA? No where is there a clause that states the "juicy stuff" about us is covered by NDA. So even if you've signed one, feel free to tell us all the "juicy" stuff. <VBG>

Sometimes I wonder. <gggg>

Carl, re: NDAs

NDAs are Corporate legal documents. They are covered by Policies and Procedures normally created by Legal departments. Each NDA is typically tailored to the specific technology to be proffered.
It's my experience that technology companies like Intel and IBM have Corporate policy against signing another company's NDA. Exceptions to this policy are difficult to obtain.
Intel doesn't want to learn your secrets under NDA. It could Legally compromise their own developments and IP.
To state that "When Intel comes into a company to sell a product, it is traditional to have all involved exchange NDAs" is far from reality.
