Jda// the point of my quotes were - you conveniently took 1 benchmark out there and crowed on it as if it were the be-all and end-all showing Xeon superiority... when in the same piece... there are faults pointed out about the Xeon as well as instances where the Athlon does do quite well against it -a CPU that wasnt even marketed originally for that part of the market..

Quite frankly.. I'd expect a dual Xeon to win in most benchmarks... but the fact is it doesnt "blow" away Athlon in everything.. and as Anand says.. wait til the 760MP board and Palominos/Athlon-4 is tested against it... then make your rationalization.
