What do you think, Sir Dancelot?

I think that I made a lot of my initial stake on MSFT, CSCO, and INTC, That the book this thread was founded on featured those three companies, and the only one I have anymore is some INTC. I really bought it because I thought it was a strong King that had bottomed, and I was right, it looks like.

What fun we used to have on the softy thread in '98! We had all the Sun lovers who hated Gates, and a bunch of us trying to make a buck on softy.

The excerpt you pointed us to is a good read, that shows some of the silliness of the Anti-trust laws.

Frank,

The most interesting part of that Microsoft discourse for me was the idea that the real issue involved replacing one monopoly with another. That's a perspective I had not previously seen, an eye-opening one.

Thanks for providing the link.
