Elwood, I smile when I read stuff like that. A couple years back the 'true believers' on the Dell thread were doing 'aerial surveys' and 'parking lot' recon, crowing about how Dell was 'paving the prairie'. In response, I told them stories about IBM execs in 1983 crowing how IBM was going to be a 100 billion dollar company by 1990. IBM at the time was leasing every available inch of space in Dutchess County, where I live. Seeing the results 10 years later (all that space vacant, and IBM trying to sell some of it's own buildings), I suggested they not get too confident. Funny how things are turning out for Dell also....

Regards,
John

What a guy. He causes traffic congestion, then has the gall to complain about it. Somebody ought to do a study of how JIT impacts truck traffic.

JMHO.
