You can watch cnbc all day and get 50 different opionions on a yes/no question. It really comes down to a best guess. Freds last post sums it all up.

"I am getting a laugh out of the analysts "BUY" recommendations. Essentially, the good news that they are all citing is that it can't get much worse. Great sophistication! What is more embarrassing is that I agree with it."

Cary, I appreciate your reasoned warnings on fundamentals. Re >The idea that bad is good is Orwellian.< I think people simply expect that this will make for easier yoy comparisons. The low utilization of some fabs [less than 50% for TSM] is the most worrisome fact.
