I liked the senate pieces.
And that's probably the best summation of Hague I've heard... this is a man in whom ambition to lead beyond his means is a virtue, at least compared with his failings (OK, sorry, he's good in formalised debate. great.)...
RWD. I'll use that.

IMO the reason he's leading the Tories is because the obvious RW challenger didn't commit himself in time, and the other characters on the right are even less pleasant. I don't think they wanted or expected to be elected this time anyhow, so they made sure of it...
