JHP - well it is easy to print money and pretend to be a powerful nation. The presses are humming to the tune of $25 Billion a week.

Do not discount China, one billion is a big number to fight should we ever go to war.

Being a communist state makes me question the technology transfers to that old world.

Soon with all those factories humming, shipyards building and overall buildup of the economy - they will not need the US. That may be many years down the road but the dawn of China as the new superpower of the world is not something to discount. What we do today could have hugh ripple effects what occurs 20, 40, 60 years hence.

I have always been of the school of advanced thinking and planning. Many Americans are only focused on the day.
