A funny thought occurred to me last night.

I've always said that my main reason for my interest in RMBS is due to the support from Intel (Scumbria, you can verify that). Without Intel's support, RDRAM would be virtually nowhere. With it, it is potentially the next standard for PC main memory.

Now that the DDR launch has been determined to be, using Carl's definition, a "disaster", we're hearing from the DDR proponents that DDR will be successful once Brookdale comes out.

It appears that both camps now staking their "success" on support from Intel. I don't know about everyone else, but I find that more than a little humorous. <G>
