Possibly, but unions have outlived their usefulness. Any institution founded to correct an ill needs to be disbanded when the ill is corrected.

And I most certainly agree that a *pure* Capitalistic
model would not work at all, in that there would only be rich and poor. The computer would never have gotten so far without a middle
class of people to purchase it... and I agree that there would be no middle class if it werern't for unions.


Henry Ford gave us the middle class when he paid wages ($5 a day) that allowed the workers to purchase their own product. Not bad for an autocrat. Unions have a place at the table but in no way are they the driving force of our success. Individuals are.
