Market manipulation is very hard to define, and although you may think it unethical it may still not be illegal. My positions remains - I think it is unlikely there is conspiracy/collusion, and even less likely that it can be proven in court, but that does not mean no conspiracy. (OJ was found innocent, but that does not mean he did not kill anyone)
