i845 picture and article in Taiwan, noone has posted this yet, so I'll do it.

Before anyone gets too excited. I believe the reference to P4-i845 Mobos with DDR is wrong (for now). I think they only work with SDR (for now). For reasons that are unknown to many, even if a variant of i845 that works with DDR exist in some IHV's lab somewhere, there is little chance of it showing up anytime soon.

Note that as an aside, ViA's PC-133 PIII chipset drove intc from 80%+ in mobo chipsets to way under 50%. intc's i815 clawed some of that back. None of this is material on intc's books because margin on the motherboard chipsets were insignificant compared to cpus and even the numbers themselves were nothing to a behemoth like intc.

An exclusive picture for your viewing of the latest i845 board. We will be seeing more DDR and SDR versions of this board probably at Computex in Taipei.
