Doug, Re: UNSTABLE P4 crashes at E3 in Intel booth

So we have unstable P4s crashing "Black & White", unstable PIIIs crashing the Xbox -- and over 250 rock-stable Athlon DDR systems all over the E3. Just look what Microsoft is saying:

amdzone.com

What Developers And Publishers Are Saying Armament including more than 250 1.2GHz AMD Athlon processor-based machines powered by DDR memory were supplied to entrenched PC game developers and publishers on the E3 show floor including Eidos, Electronic Arts, Epic Games, Gathering Of Developers, Lucas Arts, Microsoft, Sierra, Sony Online and Turbine.

"Microsoft's Entertainment Business Unit's PC games division chose AMD processor-based PCs this year for two major reasons: They have one of the best partner programs available, and their willingness to deliver on their promises is second to none in the industry," said Matt Ployhar, developer relations lead, Microsoft Games Group.

"Additionally, the reliability and performance of AMD processor-based systems is a logical choice for tradeshows such as E3 due to the punishment they'll receive during the show from the industry's hottest games."
