I hate to start responding to this way off topic stuff but this is a pet peeve of mine. Although there is a very, very strong correlation between high ldl and triglyceride levels and an increased risk of heart disease and other cardiac events, there is NO correlation between high ldl and triglyceride levels and life span. None. You are more likely to die of a heart attack if your cholesterol level, is 350 than 180, but there are other diseases that you are less likely do die from, and it all evens out. And in any case, none of it threatens life span. Amazing but true. Dr. Kearney(seriously)

Hi craig, Maybe it really tells us why Krispy Kreme is soaring ? LOL Just because new dietary guidelines are set out.. show me a correlation between that and what people actually eat.
