Personally, I'd save whichever looked easier to save - probably the closest. Anyway, how would I tell? Would you bother to take the time to check even if there was some way??

Nor do I attribute theology to babies... want to wager that the child would grow believing as whoever then looked after it, or the predominant culture there - Christian, Jewish, Muslim or Pagan...
