I don't recall any people flaunting the fact that they worship and unjust God. I'm sure there have been some, but I can't recall them. Loki was a bit of a trickster. But he wasn't really worshipped generally. Coyote is a trickster, but he's not worshipped as a God in the traditional sense. Among monotheistic religions I can recall no civilization built upon the shoulders of an "unjust" God. Everyone thinks their God is just. Just like everyone thinks they've got the genuine article.
