so why wouldn't you buy the stock then? You can love a technology or a product, but that doesn't mean that the company will make money or won't get picked off by big competitors with lots of cash. Microsoft just put out a competitor box with all the same features and two tuners so you can record two programs at once (the newer TiVos will also do this). The only thing that gives me hope (hope is such a dangerous word in investing) for these guys is the alliance with AOL (the anti-Microsoft).
