Palm M505

Read a number of reviews on Amazon.com stating the color LCD display
on the Palm M505 is a big disappointment. The screen is not very
well back-lit or vivid, according to many users. I also read a review
that stated that applications can be executed from the card, but the
app has to be copied to available RAM on the device...

"By far the most asked question I've fielded about the m500 series of devices is can you run applications from an SD/MMC card, and the answer is yes. Just as is the case with the TRG Pro and HandEra 330 running the AutoCF application, the Palm m500 series sees applications on the memory card and tries to seamlessly run them for your with only minimal delay which is caused by the application having to be transferred to local RAM before executing. As you might expect, the drawback of this method is that you must have enough free local RAM to "swap" the application in and out of or you'll have some problems."

Hope this is unique to the Palm OS and not all upcoming SD-based PDA's.
