Aus I don't know why pople keep going on only about inventory being problem. What about over capacity?

Aus, I suspect part of the price reduction in compact flash cards is due to lower prices from the fabricators. If you recall recent statements from the foundaries in Taiwan, it appears they are cutting prices drastically in order to get at least some marginal benefits from their facilities, which have a capacity far above current demand. In other words, the companies whose flash cards are now at bargain prices are not taking the entire hit.
