Joel,

In the spirit of Keep it Simple Satan, its clear as a bell
in the phrase "Who the bell tolls for, as in Hell's Bells."

With
physical gold = wealth & power
and
Battles between Good & Evil
using
temptation leads most good folks to go astray
when
they can get something for nothing
or
more than they deserve
using
see/hear/speak/acknowledge no Evil a.k.a. LikaBob
eventually
House of Cards appear
they
will let incorrectness continue
else/since
understand they were wrong etc.

(your)
... accuracy and truth in... gata.org
... real metal turned into worthless paper
... scenerio by which they will fail

The current situation was done in a Bob fashion,
all seems to be legal or not criminal
in that the people let it happen
because they were feed a reward of money & stability
a.k.a. Good Times are Here
but gold bugs knew different
knew that a con or scam or anti-gold
based on mentioned thousands of years of history
the house of cards will fall
once again
and for us it been 20+ years of a gold bear market
20+ years is a short time frame
but the technology like computers & information/communication
let 100 years occur in the last ten
so time is short
and the tide will turn
once those people who let this happen
get deserved Oops

or
in a Chatters, or is it the Graystone or
whatever, they are the same person
so
or
replace above babble from i
and replace with a Gold Bug Rule
being
a gold standard may not be nice
may not be kind
may be hard to start
and harder to continue
but without it
off-balance Rules
creates house of cards
will fall
depends how long the bad folks
can keep the house from falling
glue, rubber bands etc.

d:oug wondering why i post this way - why i am i - i i

Just logged on to the Pacer site to check on the status of the Howe/GATA complaint. Going about like I expected. All the defendants got extensions of time in which to respond, and all filed motions to dismiss, which are pending. The plaintiff is pro se. Instead of responding to each motion to dismiss individually, he's filed a consolidated response. Bad form - in the etiquette sense, legally it's sufficient, but that's not the way to do it - makes it harder on the law clerks, and you never want to make it harder on the law clerks. If this is such a great lawsuit why isn't anyone shelling out for a lawyer?-g-

(My guess - it's not a real lawsuit, it's just for show, and no lawyer wants to be hit with sanctions. How in the world anyone thinks a district court judge in Massachusetts can tell the US president how to conduct foreign policy and the US congress how to conduct monetary policy is beyond me. Guy apparently never heard of the separation of powers doctrine, nor the political question doctrine. But it's entertaining. He seems to think that these institutions have a fiduciary duty to him. Wha?)

Gold, paper all fairly useless as my father used to preach.

Now a nice piece of land with a good water source and soil -at least a man can grow his food and survive.
