Speaking of doing Good. This guy still hasn't been killed by the mercantilists or the Marxists. His description fits with my observations from travel.

I see it as more as what the people of this nation could be seeing it as. It isn't a question of doing good it is a question of direction of politics medieval or progression that includes the progress we have made.

I doubt very much if he felt his parties direction was beneficial to the whole or he would not of quit. I also believe he is forecasting what many average Americans are feeling.

As many in the US want to swing mid way it appears we end up being victims of extremes .

There was no land slide for either party. It might just be the people start to see they are being had.

At this point don't ever underestimate what the GAWDS can do comes to my mind. Then comes to mind don't ever underestimate democracy.

Then he'll see how he's been had and so will shuffle off the do-gooder stage into forgotten land unfulfilled

If he doesn't try there is no hope for what he believes is right and that to me is far more foolish.

Frank Coluccio always thought VDSL had a shot, and that was part of the reason why he had his doubts about ATHM. However,

Actelis Networks is the first company to radically boost the speed, range, and reliability of copper local loop facilities to achieve fiber performance and quality. Actelis is pioneering a new era of broadband transport that enables local carriers and service providers to rapidly deliver high-speed, high-value services over existing copper assets. Founded in 1998 and headquartered in Silicon Valley, Actelis has sales offices in Atlanta and Washington D.C. with an advanced telecommunications research and development center in Tel Aviv, Israel.

Actelis Networks helps carriers and service providers solve the bandwidth bottleneck with an emphasis on speed to market provisioning. Industry analysts predict that by the decade's end over 60 percent of U.S. businesses (over 10 million) still won't be fiber fed. The deployment outlook is even less optimistic in suburban and rural areas where there are few financial incentives to trench fiber. At the same time demand for bandwidth is increasing exponentially. This creates a critical need for delivering reliable, high-speed transport alternatives to the local loop and the final remote mile.

Revitalizing the Copper Loop Plant

The Actelis technology transforms the copper loop plant into a fiber-scale service platform. With over a dozen patents pending, Actelis Networks delivers the first high-speed transport system that turns voice-grade copper pairs into a fiber-quality transport link. The Actelis solution provides 10 to 100+ Mbps of symmetrical bandwidth with reliability levels on par with fiber optics. Actelis technology extends signal ranges beyond 18Kft and eliminates construction and lengthy line pre-qualification procedures for first day deployment. Actelis makes ultra high-speed services accessible to virtually any small to mid-sized enterprise customer. By transforming copper pairs into a fiber-scale backhaul solution, Actelis also brings broadband service to the final remote mile.
