You're welcome. I like poetry so much I avoid most of it, especially the type that does not rhyme. I dodged your question "Do you think a society of non-believers is any more or less viable than one based on religion?" I honestly don't know - but Stalin and Hitler thought they knew and if we go by that example we should not even pose the question. You posed your question honestly and Salon full of zeal was ready to paddle off into the sunset. People shoot, maim and kill for great ideas, good and bad. The problem is humans are easily fooled by greatness, even great fraud. I don't want to be imposed upon by society or culture - corporate or ethnic. If we have societal goals in common we can pursue different aims as individuals or culturally without impeding each other.
