Called away or not, you subtract that 1.30 from the cost basis of your stock, as it's now in your pocket. Thanks, Id. I was clear about this part but unclear about the point at which I might get called. Just thought that point appeared at the strike point plus premium. Obviously, still not clear on the entire transaction process. But, with me, I learn best by doing. Hopefully, that's what I'm doing. Thanks to members of thread, I'm clearer than I would have been had I been called. John
