As a conservative, I put little value in the creation of a Republican majority in either house using liberal Rebublicans. Those in my party who have been reciting the mantra about the "big tent" for these many years have been made incredible fools of by Jeffords. The light of day now shines on the infection of McCain and several other Senators. The result of the Jeffords defection, whether Republican leaders like it or not, will be a cleaning out of the party, and a readying for the war against the left. These so-called leaders have been living in denial of this war for far too long...
