I am not sure what you mean by "test" here; do you think there is a time lag betewwn the bottom p/c equity number and vix or is a test the fact that a small down move or news can change these numbers back to neutral-you are talking about change; from near extreme; I am asking is this a given that markets reverse; a mathematical risk with a percentage number; or a test, as in perhaps short term they become more extreme--
