AMD - executing itself flawlessly. "

Yepper...AMD keeps slipping yet AMD's eps outperforms the competition (AMD Q! = $0.37, INTC Q1 = $0.07)...and the pattern is unlikely to change in Q2, Q3 or Q4...yepper...Seems some companies can slip schedules and still outperform in eps comparisons, while others slip schedules and get hammered on eps...Almost makes one consider the possibility that the cause of slippage may differ for these two companies that are currently headed in opposite directions based upon recent eps performance!!!

Paul,

So, we are about 9 before SludgePumper was supposed to be introduced, and AMD has slipped it by at least 9 months AFTER Q4 2001.

You lost me here. I am aware of basically a year slip from 2H 2001 to 2H 2002, but where is this first 9 months coming from?

Joe
