Hal.. re: the last mile....Wouldn't wireless eliminate the last mile? At a recent symposium of business leaders in Hong Kong, Charlie Rose interviewed the likes of Yang, Levin, Wong and Dell who unanimously agreed that wireless was the future of the internet. Michael Dell said his company was building imbedded wireless laptops as he spoke... We're hoping to have Starband and one other wireless operator here within the year....I'm looking forward to a bb experience just to see what you fellas are talking about!

Wireles requires line of sight, Boots. Didn't have that here due to big old trees and a few tall hospital buildings. There are other factors both for and against it, but if that group says it is the future, I sure don't know enough to argue. Have run into "Setting Preferences " problems at iNEXTV. It refuses to remember, or sometimes even enact, my new settings. Clunky. They need to change that. Will mess with it a little now.
