Now can we get off the riches & intelligence battleground? I have a very
healthy ego... don't need you corrupting my mind. I'll respond to comments from others later... I have a vacation to get back to.

Intelligence means staying away from SI President George W. Bush thread while on vacation.<g> Enjoy!

Dear zen, my sgi monitors require no special software. Well the video card, to use the entire screen would have to be able to drive 1600x1024. Of course I guess very few cards today with an Xwindows driver would have a problem. In that SGI sells NT I suspect the SGI provides drivers. But I drive my Displays using number nine rev 4 cards and with NT and 98 one can also do multidisplay. In linux I use commercial xig multihead as stability is better and it's 70% faster. But there in no problem with drivers for Xfree86, even xerama. Sgi may have drivers for all msft viri OSes, I only state what I have personally integrated.

Anyway today one can buy SGI sw1600s with SGI's multilink adapter and any card that can output to any multisync monitor can drive the sw1600s

Also I used fully a fully complient open-GL library with linux and my SW1600s and the application worked fine.

I've also used my linux fully complient open-GL library and driven the display from an SGI box doing the conputing. Mind boggling speed and response.

Dear zen, you post crap technical data and then defend it and then come back with disparaging remarks. To me it not an riches & intelligence battleground. To me it you post crap data and I point out that it's crap data.

As to all I've spoken of, I do the research and I call them as I see them. I see you calling them the way you feel them. That's the battleground.

By the way got any pictures of you computer children. I got hundreds of mine.

you all have a nice day now hear.
