And a war might be what Arafat wants, knowing that there will be pressure upon Israel not to go too far, thus preserving "" Arafat is wrong, if there is a war, then Israel will never negotiate with Arafat! His time is up. As you rightly say, he has lost control, then Israel will take withe he who has control. The time is on Israel's side. When the Israeli tanks move into the West Bank the Palestinians will learn that peace is better than no peace. The will ask for Egypt and Jordan to intervene, as Israel will have better terms!

And if these Kebab-eaters are not careful, the Arab terrorism will spill into Greece! Israel, and US both knows that they are turning a blind eye to Terrorism, and they are hostile to NATO and the West. I happen to know some Greek, when they talk about the West, they say Europe! That means historically they are not considering themselves Europeans, which I can understand! The crime committed against the Greeks during the Crusades, and the fact that the Catholic Church sit and watched while the last bastion of Western Civilization in Near East fell to Turks, and forgotten for centuries, I would have been hostile to the Europe and the West too! They identify themselves with their Serbian brothers(!!) Russians, Syrians, and Lebanese more than with the Catholic West! Their culture suffered great set-backs by nearly 500 years of Turkish Rule, they sit like Turks, eat like Turks and often act like them. They even build their toilets away from their houses which is a heritage of Turkish rule! And they are antisemites to their bone! Did you know last year the Greek CHurch wanted that the citizens religion be printed on their ID cards so they can distinguish Christians and non-Christians; EC stopped them! Ask George? ggg
