By "do" I mean hoard. I think the number can easily go higher, per year, depending on how much agricultural chemicals gets shipped to the US. The stats of HK's import (a lot) and re-export (very little) of gold over the years would lead you to believe that HK is now made entirely out of gold. Alas, much is shipped across to China during the night (hitting a high of 400 tons in 1997), along with Mercedes and cigarettes. Chugs, Jay
