Zeev, You have an admirable track record with your calls on companies as you see it. I think we all get our own fragment of reality. In this case longs think that their cause is just and that there is a vast conspiracy to discredit their beloved company. But I see a company filled with arrogant lawyers and engineers with strong but questionable business practices. I also see a company that does not like to build bridges and think they are somehow superior to the hundreds of other companies out there building compelling products. I know you like this company's IP-based business model and collecting royalties, but I think with your enviable track record, it is possible to be slightly wrong once or twice with little effect on your batting average. My mistakes are more likely to be long on a company for too long. I once questioned SIII's ability to perform given nvda and atyt and tdfx's execution back then. I think this is a 2nd company that I feel strongly negative on (except the last 6 months of TDFX), but when Hitachi folded, I chalked it up to one of those unfortunate things you can't do anything about (like the rain forests). I use this site : delphion.com to do my patent searches. As I noted a while ago, here is a list of patent assignees by company : RAMBU$ 117 Infineon 179 (Infineon is a new company spun off from siemens) Siemens 16,938 Micron 5343 Intel 4564 Advanced Micro Devices 4269 Hitachi 24,734 Hyundai 2099 Matsushita 16,249 NEC 15872 So I'm wondering : other than that rmbs don't manufacture goods, what is so compelling about their patents that makes them superior to the other patents in the industry?
