To step in and try and control that process [of new energy solutions] would fail the system that we live under called capitalism. If so, how do you explain the millions going to subsidize oil production? How do you explain all the deductions the oil industry is using? This is not pure capitalism at work. And to say that if Gore would have been elected you would have had Armageddon, it's a joke. OPEC is not afraid of the Alaska drilling. This is peanuts for them. Encouraging new methods of energy is the biggest threat to this cartel.
